CCU College of Engineering Successfully Hosts 2024 Asia-Pacific Workshop on Intelligent Engineering

The College of Engineering at National Chung Cheng University (CCU) successfully hosted the Asia-Pacific Workshop on Intelligent Engineering (APWIE) from October 28 to November 1, 2024. The five-day event brought together distinguished scholars from various countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Korea, creating a vibrant platform for international academic exchange.

The workshop encompassed a wide range of engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, electrical and communications engineering, chemical engineering, and computer science. Through a series of keynote speeches and in-depth discussions, participants shared cutting-edge research findings and innovative technological developments in intelligent engineering.

This workshop serves as a crucial platform for promoting academic collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region. The diversity of participating scholars and the breadth of topics covered reflect the dynamic nature of engineering research in our region.

A notable highlight of the workshop was the active participation of graduate students, who presented their research findings through oral presentations. This provided valuable opportunities for young researchers to engage with international scholars and showcase their work on a global stage.

The success of APWIE 2024 not only strengthens academic ties between participating institutions but also lays a solid foundation for future international research collaborations. The College of Engineering at CCU remains committed to fostering such international academic exchanges and nurturing the next generation of engineering talent.
