To promote international engagement and cross-cultural learning, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia, will host a 7-day short programme titled “Cultural Confluence and Ecotourism Exploration: A Malaysian Experience” from 5 July to 11 July 2026. Students are warmly invited to apply.

1. Programme Overview
This programme integrates cultural immersion, ecotourism exploration, academic sharing, and hands-on learning activities, including:

  • Sharing on Malaysia’s multicultural society and religious diversity
  • Traditional dance and cultural performances
  • Hands-on workshop on traditional food-themed keychain making
  • Lectures on environmental conservation and ecotourism in Malaysia
  • Practical sessions on human gait biomechanics and 3D printing applications
  • Cultural visits and site explorations (Batu Caves, Putrajaya, Royal Selangor, and local night markets)

2. Programme Period and Location

  • Dates: 5 July (Sun) – 11 July (Sat), 2026
  • Location: Malaysia

3. Programme Fee (Inclusive of 8% Service Tax)

  • Group of 10 students: USD 950 per person
  • Group of 20 students: USD 700 per person
  • Group of 30 students: USD 620 per person
  • Staff/Lecturer: USD 600 per person

4. Fee Includes

  • Transportation throughout the programme (including airport transfers)
  • 6 nights of accommodation with breakfast
  • Selected lunches
  • Course and workshop fees
  • Administrative costs

5. Fee Excludes

  • International airfare
  • Travel/medical insurance
  • Visa application fees
  • Some meals as specified in the itinerary
