The College of Engineering is pleased to share that Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia will be hosting the International Young Leaders Summer Programme (IYLSP) 2026, a one-week international summer programme designed to bring together students and staff from partner universities to engage in cross-cultural learning and discussions on sustainable urban development.

📌 Programme Information

  • Programme Title: International Young Leaders Summer Programme (IYLSP) 2026
  • Theme: Cultural Identity and Preservation in Cities – Empowering Young Leaders with SDG 11
  • Date: 19–26 August 2026
  • Venue: Sungai Long Campus, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia
  • Target Participants: Undergraduate students and academic staff
  • Application Deadline: 17 July 2026

💰 Programme Fee

  • International participants:
    • RM 2,900 per person (group of 10 participants)
    • RM 2,700 per person (group of 20 participants)

📦 What the Fee Includes

  • Accommodation
  • Local transportation (excluding international airfare)
  • Meals (daily breakfast and three lunches)
  • Workshop materials and programme resources
  • Cultural visits and entrance fees

🧭 Programme Highlights

  • Opening ceremony and campus orientation

️ Airport Transfer Service

The host university will provide airport pick-up and drop-off services at:

  • Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA 1 & KLIA 2)
